Privacy Policy
Effective August 17, 2026
KeptIt is a private reference library for saving and finding links, images, videos, documents, notes, and collections. This policy explains how KeptIt handles information when you use the iOS app and its related services.
Information you provide
- Account information, including the identifier and relay or contact email supplied through Sign in with Apple.
- Content you choose to save, such as source URLs, images, videos, screenshots, documents, titles, notes, categories, tags, and boards.
- Messages you send to support.
Information collected automatically
KeptIt may collect product-interaction and performance information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service. This can include app events, request identifiers, error categories, device or app version, and timing information. KeptIt is designed to keep customer content and authentication credentials out of operational logs.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate your account; save, sync, search, organize, and recover your library; process media and metadata; prevent abuse; provide support; and understand reliability and product performance. Automated processing may improve extraction and retrieval, but your notes, categories, boards, and other explicit choices remain authoritative.
Service providers
KeptIt uses service providers to operate the app, including Apple for authentication and distribution, Supabase for authentication and database services, Cloudflare for API and object-storage infrastructure, and limited reliability or product analytics providers such as Sentry and PostHog. These providers process information on KeptIt’s behalf under their applicable terms and safeguards.
Sharing and sale
KeptIt does not sell your personal information. Information is not shared for third-party advertising. It may be disclosed to service providers as described above, when required by law, or to protect users, the service, and legal rights.
Retention, deletion, and recovery copies
Account and library information is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion from within the app or by contacting support. Active data is deleted or de-identified through the account-deletion process. Limited encrypted backup and recovery copies may remain until they expire under the applicable retention schedule, after which they are deleted.
Security
KeptIt uses access controls, encrypted connections, signed asset access, row-level data isolation, audit and integrity checks, and tested backup and recovery procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security, but suspected security issues are investigated and credentials are rotated when exposure is detected.
Your choices
You can choose what to save, edit or remove saved information, sign out, and request account deletion. Apple privacy controls govern information supplied through Sign in with Apple. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information.
Children
KeptIt is not directed to children under 13, and KeptIt does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as KeptIt changes. Material updates will be reflected here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@realboring.com.
